1964 – Corinna Tsopei from Greece
Kyriaki “Corinna” Tsopei won the 1964 Miss Universe competition, and beat England, Sweden, Israel, and China to be crowned so. After the win, she went on to pursue an acting career, even making small appearances in movies such as The Sweet Ride and A Man Called Horse. “Beauty Queen to Charity Queen” is a great way to describe her life, as she is the chairperson of a non-profit which help children with cancer. Corinna has lived in California ever since her marriage to a Hollywood producer and often goes back home to Greece.
